Triceratium westianum from Newcastle, Barbados. Single example on the slide, with slight damage. 4 lobe version. Prepared by Laurence Miles. Label on the rear of the slide as well. Olympus BHB microscope using 450nm LED light. 40x Leitz Pl Apo NA 1.00 objective, oil immersion. Olympus Aplanat Achromat condenser, oil immersion, oblique lighting. 2.5x Nikon CF PL photoeyepiece. Monochrome converted Nikon d850 camera. 44 images stacked in Zerene (Pmax). Frustratingly, I couldn’t get close enough to use the 63x Leitz Pl Apo objective, as the coverslip ring is quite pronounced. As such, resolution is limited.
