Triceratium favus

An arrangement of four Triceratium favus. No location given. Three of them are rim upwards towards the coverslip, however the left hand side one is rim down. Prepared by Watson and Sons Ltd. Olympus BHB microscope using 450nm LED light. As well as the arrangement, I selected the left hand for imaging at higher resolution using a 63x Leitz Pl Apo 1.4 objective, oil immersion. Olympus Aplanat Achromat condenser, oil immersion, slightly oblique lighting. 2.5x Nikon CF PL photoeyepiece. Monochrome converted Nikon d850 camera. 35 images stacked in Zerene (Pmax).
