Triceratium crenulatum, ECP Bone

Triceratium crenulatum

Triceratium crenulatum from Oamaru, New Zealand. ‘forma gibbosa‘ has been crossed out (which may or may not have been the right thing to do – it is certainly more on the ‘gibbosa’ side than the ‘concave’ side of shapes). Single example on the slide. Fossil material. Mounted in Clearax and dated July 1961. Prepared by ECP Bone. Olympus BHB microscope using 450nm LED light. 63x Leitz Pl Apo 1.4 objective, oil immersion. Olympus Aplanat Achromat condenser, oil immersion, oblique lighting. 2.5x Nikon CF PL photoeyepiece. Monochrome converted Nikon d850 camera. 41 images stacked in Zerene (Pmax).
