



An arrangement of Terpsinoe intermedia from salt marshes near Mobile, Alabama, USA. Under the name it says ‘abnormal forms’, however on the rear, a note was added which says ‘F.C. Wise, 3/57, Auxospore formation not abnormal forms.’. Also says ‘see notes in file’ which I do not have. Dated 26.4.1903. Prepared by Henry Morland. Olympus BHB microscope using 450nm LED light. I then imaged 2 of them with a 40x Leitz Pl Apo 1.00 objective, oil immersion. Olympus Aplanat Achromat condenser, oil immersion, oblique lighting. 2.5x Nikon CF PL photoeyepiece. 11mm of the tube to the camera was removed to improve field of view. Monochrome converted Nikon d850 camera. 50 images stacked in Zerene (Pmax).
