


An arrangement of Synedra crystallina from Biera (not sure where this is). Mounted in Naphrax (NA 1.71) and dated January 1953. Prepared by Horace George Barber. Olympus BHB microscope using 450nm LED light. As well as the arrangement I imaged part of one using a 63x Leitz Pl Apo NA 1.4 objective, oil immersion. Olympus Aplanat Achromat condenser, oil immersion, oblique lighting. 2.5x Nikon CF PL photoeyepiece. Monochrome converted Nikon d850 camera. 51 images stacked in Zerene (Pmax). This is rim upwards towards the coverslip (underside view).
