An arrangement of three Surirella febigeri (and var.) from Victoria, Brazil. Spelt Febigerii on the slide. Prepared by JA Long. Olympus BHB microscope using 450nm LED light. I imaged the middle one at higher resolution. 40x Leitz Pl Apo NA 1.00 objective, oil immersion. Olympus Aplanat Achromat condenser, oil immersion, oblique lighting. 2.5x Nikon CF PL photoeyepiece. Monochrome converted Nikon d850 camera. 42 images stacked in Zerene (Pmax) for the 40x image, 28 images for the arrangement. They were either mounted very deep, or the coverslip was quite thick, as I only just managed to image the middle one with the 40x objective.
