A strew slide from St Laurent La Vernède, France. Wide variety of species present. Marine fossil. Mounted in Pleurax and dated 22/2/2025. Prepared by Michel Haak. Olympus BHB microscope using 450nm LED light. I chose a small but intact Symbolophora amblyoceros for imaging at higher resolution (underside view with the rim to the coverslip). 63x Leitz Pl Apo 1.4 objective, oil immersion. Olympus Aplanat Achromat condenser, oil immersion, oblique lighting. 2.5x Nikon CF PL photoeyepiece. Monochrome converted Nikon d850 camera. 24 images stacked in Zerene (Pmax).
