


Fossil diatomaceæ from Mors, Jutland. Wide range of species present. Prepared by Watson and Sons Ltd. Olympus BHB microscope using 450nm LED light. As well as the wider view of the strew, I imaged Pseudostictodiscus angulatus (there were quite a few of these on the slide) using the 63x Leitz Pl Apo 1.4 objective, oil immersion. Olympus Aplanat Achromat condenser, oil immersion, oblique lighting. 2.5x Nikon CF PL photoeyepiece. Monochrome converted Nikon d850 camera. 43 images stacked in Zerene (Pmax). Underside view, rim upwards towards the coverslip.
