Olympus Aplanat Achromat condenser, oil immersion, oblique lighting. 2.5x Nikon CF PL photoeyepiece. Monochrome converted Nikon d850 camera. 54 images stacked in Zerene (Pmax).

As for what this is, after looking through Schmidt’s Atlas, I think it might be Navicula samoensis. Navicula samoensis Grunow 1877. Published in: Schmidt, A.[W.F.] (1877).
