An arrangement of Navicula genifera (4 on the left) and zanzibarica (2) on the right. No locations given. Prepared by JA Long. Olympus BHB microscope using 450nm LED light. I selected one of the Navicula genifera for further imaging (there are other examples of N. zanzibarica on this site). 63x Leitz Pl Apo 1.4 objective, oil immersion. Olympus Aplanat Achromat condenser, oil immersion, oblique lighting. 2.5x Nikon CF PL photoeyepiece. Monochrome converted Nikon d850 camera. 16 images stacked in Zerene (Pmax).
