An arrangement of diatoms from cementstone, Jutland. Prepared by Richard Suter. Very badly damaged with a broken and lifted coverslip, however the arrangement is still intact. Also quite a lot of other diatoms away from the arrangement under a lifted part of the coverslip. Olympus BHB microscope using 450nm LED light. 10x Nikon Plan Apo NA 0.45 objective. Olympus Aplanat Achromat condenser, brightfield lighting. 2.5x Nikon CF PL photoeyepiece. Monochrome converted Nikon d850 camera. 2 image stacked prepared in Zerene (Pmax) and pasted together in Photoshop.
