Two examples of Euodia frauenfeldii. Both mounted with the rim upwards towards the coverslip (underside views). No location given but I have seen these on an arrangement from Australia before. Prepared by Watson and Sons Ltd. Olympus BHB microscope using 450nm LED light. 63x Leitz Pl Apo 1.4 objective, oil immersion. Olympus Aplanat Achromat condenser, oil immersion, oblique lighting. 2.5x Nikon CF PL photoeyepiece. Monochrome converted Nikon d850 camera. 44 images stack in Zerene (Pmax).

The cribra (siliceous occlusion) within the areola have some great structure in SEM, and there is a hint of this with the image presented here.
