Leitz 100x 1.32-0.60 Pl Apo objective, iris reduced slightly to produce circular oblique illumination, oil immersion. Watson holoscopic condenser, oil immersion. Nikon CF 5x photoeyepiece. Monochrome converted Nikon d800 camera. 18 images stacked in Zerene (Dmap). The mountant shows quite a lot of structure which is visible around the diatom.
