An arrangement of five Auliscus rhipis from Sydney, Australia. Two are abnormal (the two at the top right on the 10x objective image). Synonymised names – Auliscus caelatus var. rhipis, Auliscus sculptus var. rhipis. Prepared by Samuel Henry Meakin. Mounted in Sirax and dated March 1940.

Olympus BHB microscope using 450nm LED light. The 10x (Nikon Plan Apo NA 0.45) and 40x (Leitz Pl Apo NA 1.00 with oil immersion) objective images used brightfield lighting, and the 63x Leitz Pl Apo NA 1.40 objective (with oil immersion), image was slightly oblique. Olympus Aplanat Achromat condenser, oil immersion. 2.5x Nikon CF PL photoeyepiece. Monochrome converted Nikon d850 camera. Images stacks prepared in Zerene (Pmax).
