An arrangement of three Aulacodiscus sp. from Bruce’s Rocks, South of Dunedin, New Zealand. Mounted in Sirax and dated 26/10/1939. No makers name but based on style and handwriting I think it is by WF Reeve. Olympus BHB microscope using 450nm LED light. I chose the middle one for higher resolution imaging. 63x Leitz Pl Apo 1.4 objective, oil immersion. Olympus Aplanat Achromat condenser, oil immersion, oblique lighting. 2.5x Nikon CF PL photoeyepiece. Monochrome converted Nikon d850 camera. 44 images stacked in Zerene (Pmax).
Based on appearance, I think these might be Aulacodiscus huttonii.
