Aulacodiscus sollitanus. Four processes but one missing. Single example on the slide. Mounted in Styrax. Prepared by Watson and Sons Ltd. Olympus BHB microscope using 450nm LED light. 40x Leitz Pl Apo NA 1.00 objective, oil immersion. Olympus Aplanat Achromat condenser, oil immersion, brightfield lighting. 2.5x Nikon CF PL photoeyepiece. Monochrome converted Nikon d850 camera. 84 images stacked in Zerene (Pmax). Some really nice details present in the individual images, but which become a bit lost in the stack. These are better shown with the crop of a single image using the higher magnification 63x Leitz Pl Apo NA 1.40 oil immersion objective (again using brightfield).
There seem to be various spellings of the name for this, including A. sollittanus and A. sollittianus.
