


An arrangement of seven Aulacodiscus comberi (written as comberii on the slide) from Maccabe Island (I am assuming Macabi Island off the coast of Peru where extensive guano harvesting was done). Prepared by Arthur Cottam. Olympus BHB microscope using 450nm LED light. As well as the arrangement I imaged the middle one using a 63x Leitz Pl Apo 1.4 objective, oil immersion. Olympus Aplanat Achromat condenser, oil immersion, oblique lighting. 2.5x Nikon CF PL photoeyepiece. Monochrome converted Nikon d850 camera. 65 images stacked in Zerene (Pmax).
