Asteromphalus challengerensis, William Gatrell (?)

Asteromphalus challengerensis

An arrangement of four Asteromphalus challengerensis, from what looks to be ‘North Atlantic’. No makers name, but the initials W.G. are written on the top label, and the style and hand writing looks like it could be William Gatrell, so I am going with that for now, and putting a question mark after it. Also, no obvious date, although there is an ’89’ which could mean 1889 (which would tie in with William Gatrell). Olympus BHB microscope using 450nm LED light. 40x Leitz Pl Apo NA 1.00 objective, oil immersion. Olympus Aplanat Achromat condenser, oil immersion, oblique lighting. 2.5x Nikon CF PL photoeyepiece. Monochrome converted Nikon d850 camera. 39 images stacked in Zerene (Pmax).
