A strew slide of Amphitetras antidiluviana from Guernsey. Described as ‘many interesting views’, and it certainly does. Prepared by Theodor Ernst Eulenstein, but also has a label by CN Peal, Fernhurst, Ealing. I selected a couple of them for further imaging. Olympus BHB microscope using 450nm LED light. 63x Leitz Pl Apo 1.4 objective, oil immersion. Olympus Aplanat Achromat condenser, oil immersion, oblique lighting. 2.5x Nikon CF PL photoeyepiece. Monochrome converted Nikon d850 camera. Image stacks prepared in Zerene (Pmax) – 49 images for the ‘squarer’ one and 35 for the cross shaped one.
