Triceratium nobile

An arrangement of five Triceratium nobile from Russia. Described as ‘rare’. No makers name. Olympus BHB microscope using 450nm LED light. As well as the arrangement, I imaged two using the 63x Leitz Pl Apo 1.4 objective, oil immersion. Olympus Aplanat Achromat condenser, oil immersion, oblique lighting. 2.5x Nikon CF PL photoeyepiece. 11mm removed from the tube to the camera to increase the field of view. Monochrome converted Nikon d850 camera. 46 images stacked in Zerene (Pmax). In the full arrangement image, the one in the middle has the rim downwards (a ‘top down’ view) while all the others have the rims upwards towards the coverslip. In the higher magnification image the left one is a ‘top down’ view, while the right one has the rim up towards the coverslip.
