A 30 form diatom slide mounted in Styrax. Coverslip 0.15mm. Labelled as Watson and Sons Ltd. Olympus BHB microscope using 450nm LED light. As well as the whole linear arrangement which was imaged using a 4x Nikon Plan Apo NA 0.2 objective and brightfield light, I imaged it again in two halves using a 10x Nikon Plan Apo NA 0.45 objective. Olympus Aplanat Achromat condenser, oblique lighting. 2.5x Nikon CF PL photoeyepiece. Monochrome converted Nikon d850 camera. Images stacked in Zerene (Pmax) and then pasted together in Photoshop. Nice arrangement with an array of different species, although some movement has occurred.
