




A diatom strew from Totara, Oamaru, New Zealand. Wide range of species present. Mounted in Naphrax and dated 27th July 1979. Olympus BHB microscope using 450nm LED light. I selected 3 diatoms for higher magnification imaging. 63x Leitz Pl Apo NA 1.4 objective, oil immersion. Olympus Aplanat Achromat condenser, oil immersion, oblique. 2.5x Nikon CF PL photoeyepiece. Monochrome converted Nikon d850 camera. Image stacks prepared in Zerene (Pmax).
