A strew slide from Buffels Bay, False Bay, South Africa. Prepared by Klaus Kemp. Mounted in Pleurax and dated January 2003. Quite a varied set of species present, with a lot of Hyalodiscus sp.. I found one example of what I think is Actinocyclus subtilis (hence the question mark after it). Olympus BHB microscope using 450nm LED light. 63x Leitz Pl Apo 1.4 objective, oil immersion. Olympus Aplanat Achromat condenser, oil immersion, oblique lighting. 2.5x Nikon CF PL photoeyepiece. Monochrome converted Nikon d850 camera. 14 images stacked in Zerene (Pmax).
